Lee High School. After attending Judson College, a women’s liberal arts college in Marion Alabama, she began her teaching career in Atlanta. Mrs. Miller has taught in public school both as a general education teacher and as a special education teacher. Her graduate work in special education/psychology was at Western Carolina University and her graduate work in adult education was at the University of Georgia. She has been with Reinhardt College since 1996 and has taught Special Education courses since 1998. As a member of the teaching/clinical faculty of the Division of Exceptional Children at the University of Georgia Mrs. Miller began her interest and research in inclusion as it pertains both to the classroom and the community. Mrs. Miller is currently the Program Coordinator of Middle Grades Education with the Price School of Education and is developing a new program for training Special Education and general education teachers with an emphasis on the ethics of inclusion. She is the mother of two grown daughters and the grandmother of two young grandsons.
